Saiku Fortune Telling and Fortune Totonoi's “Five Color Meal” Meal Experience Tour

2 hours

Very easy

A lunch experience with a fortune telling experience unique to Saiku, a sacred place for fortune telling

For about 660 years from the Asuka period to the Northern and Southern Dynasties, there was a system called the “Saio System,” where unmarried women from the royal family served Ise-jingu Shrine in place of the emperor, and the saio lived and offered prayers in a palace called Saiku. In Saigu, fortune-telling with the five elements of yin and yang was performed, and it is also said that various events were held due to good fortune and evil.

Therefore, at the historic site of Saigu, we will ask for the date of birth in advance, tell the customer's fortune, and give advice on how eating with awareness of what colors and cooking methods in the bento while enjoying the organic dish “five-color meal bento,” which focuses on local ingredients, will lead to customer happiness.

You can enjoy that bento at Heian no Mori “Nishiwakiden,” which was restored as a historic site in Saigu.

*Depending on the schedule, it may become the Saiku Historical Museum “Ruins”.
